 Open space

...like a curtain which is simultaneously lifted both on the audience and the performance

"For me the audience is the most important dimension of the stage experience. A performance, a theatre or a dance production, or any other form of art becomes essential, vital, like the food we eat or the oxygen we breathe, if the work itself can see the audience. The audience does not see the performance; the performance sees the audience while it is viewed by the audience. It is like a circular flow, an alternating current, like a curtain which is simultaneously lifted both on the audience and the performance".
