Suffused by a barrage of electoral campaign messages, one’s mind inevitably goes to Mark Anthony’s speech from Romeo Castellucci's knee play Giulio Cesare. Pezzi Staccati, to be presented at the Athens Festival 2016, 17-20 June 2016, Athens, Greece.

Language use and rhetoric provide the creative concept of the performance. The politicians in whose hands our future has been entrusted have stripped meaningful words of content, and have abandonded them to float around, meaningless. Political discourse has never sounded more hollow than today.
