"I’m always researching theatre. I do it through music starting with the voice in tender sound. I’ve discovered that between the voice and the word there is an image that pushes me to go beyond the obvious meaning of the text, as if through the sound of the voice I can see another text, a text made of scenery, costumes, lights. There, between the sound of the voice and the sound of the word I’ve discovered the theatre. The temperature of the imagery. Eyes and ears come together. The theatre and the music become the same thing."
